Why Shades Look Different on Dark Pakistani Eyes
Online product photos for colored lenses are usually shot on light eyes. Pale grey, green, or hazel irises that show the lens colour at full vibrancy. Pakistani buyers have naturally dark brown eyes, which means the lens has to be opaque to actually change how the eye reads. Tips for the Most Accurate Preview
Take or upload a front-facing close-up with good even lighting. Daylight near a window works best, harsh overhead light can make irises hard to spot. Eyes wide open, looking straight at the camera. Click as close to the centre of each iris as you can. Try the shade at 60-70% opacity first, which approximates how opaque cosmetic lenses actually read on dark eyes. If you have very dark irises, push opacity higher; if your eyes lean lighter brown, lower it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my selfie stored or uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire try-on runs in your browser. Your photo, the click positions, and the shade overlay are all processed locally on your device. We have no upload endpoint for selfies and no server storage for face images. You can verify this by opening your browser's network tab while using the tool.
Why is the preview slightly different from how the lens really looks?
A 2D overlay cannot fully replicate how a physical lens interacts with your iris pattern, lighting, and reflectivity. The preview is a strong indication of the shade direction (warm vs cool, subtle vs dramatic) but the final on-eye appearance depends on the specific brand's pigment density and your natural iris. Use it to narrow your choice down to 1-2 candidates.
Why does the live camera not work on my device?
Browsers require HTTPS and explicit camera permission. Some older Android browsers block this entirely. If the camera button does not work, use the file upload instead. Take a selfie in your normal camera app first, then upload it.
